Come to dive with us and discover Rapa Nui’s underwater world. Mike Rapu Diving Center teaches the PADI dive courses along the whole year. A PADI certification allows you to dive all over the world because it is recognized worldwide.
PADI Open Water
This is the first level and the most basic one. With this course you will be able to dive all over the world with a partner at a maximum depth of 18 mts. It takes a minimum of 6 days, according to your availability. You will be provided with an official PADI Open Water Manual and you will also receive theoretical lessons and skill development instructions. You will make a total of ___ instruction dives. The course ends with a final exam (approval with a minimum of 75%of correct answers) and a final dive to the underwater moai.
PADI Advenced Open Water
This is the second course and consists of five immersions, one for each adventure. The deep and underwater navigation adventures are mandatory, and the other three are for each student to choose from what we have available. You will be provided with the official PADI Adventures in Diving Manual, theoretical lessons and skill development instructions.
PADI Rescue Diver
This course consists in two courses: PADI Rescue Diver course and EFR course. You will be provided with both official manuals, theoretical lessons and skill development instructions. To approve this course you must obtain 75% in the final exam.
PADI Dive Master
This is the first step to become a dive professional. You will be provided with the whole Divemaster kit and classes. It has a duration of one month in which students will have to work in our dive center. To approve this course you will have to obtain 75% in all the final exams and water skills.
